In the next two years Russia intends to cancel visa restrictions for all countries of Latin America. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference held on January 15 in Moscow.

“We have, in fact, visa-free regime with all the countries of Central America and Caribbean, except four or five countries. And I am sure that in the next year or in two years we will be able to make the entire CELAC zone (the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) into a visa-free zone for Russian Federation”, – stressed the minister in his speech.
